Theme:

“Integration” is based on works by women through transdisciplinary and interdisciplinary connections between the technical sciences and other applied sciences that influence new media art. The main goal behind this conference is to provide a platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences emerging from the intersection of science and applied art. The conference concentrates on various aspects of the mutual benefits of the integration and interaction between science and media arts.



Conference goals:

  • Present innovative ideas and theories within the aspect of integrating Science in Media Arts

  • Introduce new trends, results and practices from the merging of art and science in the educational system

  • Highlight contributions of artistic practices in several scientific and academic research methods.

  • Create a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience as well as provide contexts for collaborative practices in the fields of media arts and science.

Workshops

AWMAS workshops and tutorials provide in-depth opportunities for conference attendees to discuss and explore important aspects of the field of media arts, science and engineering with like-minded researchers and practitioners. Sessions can range from applications and programming methodologies to interdisciplinary research skills, emerging research areas, and challenge problems.
